I AGREE WITH YOU 100% black female celebs like beyonce and lil kim are lost and they are basicly giving their life away for fame and what they think is love.

I stopped getting my hair chemically relaxed 4 years ago in Sept 09 and my hair has never been anything but healthy, I do sometimes get my hair pressed at the shop which will last for about 2 weeks but in the summer I mostly wear my scarfs.

to say that Relaxed and Pressed hair is Damaged hair is not right. I have permed hair and my hair is Very Healthy. At the end of the day its all about how you take care of your hair, Natural, Relaxed, Texalaxed, Jerri curl Whatever does not really detrmine how good your hair is..
but in all I enjoyed watching this video, I may not be "natural", but I appreciate watching women with natural hair..I love JANELLE ahhh

I will. we have all (meaning black, asian, hispanic etc.) been mentally conditioned to appear more European physically from centuries ago till this day. and it is something the black community is trying to eradicate IE this and many videos of natural being and embracing our afro ethnicity in general.

I've been natural for 7 years...and I love it. I do like straight styles so I wear wigs and I will wear a weave if I really like a hair style. I've had so many people have come to me and inquire about how my hair ...saying they want to go natural, but they're scared they won't look attractive. I think have a relaxer is perfectly fine...but I just want to be one of those people that say "Hey...I don't HAVE TO have a relaxer to be beautiful!!!" And I wish more of us can feel like that.
