@mueygringo Robert Byrd was a Democrat, ie, A Leftist. Reid & Dodd are Dems. What KKK Grad Wizard was supported in the US Senate by the right. I checked. Thurmond wasn't w/ the KKK, nor was Lott although both were Dems. They went to the Dixiecrats, but became disillusioned w/ the Dems for the growing favor of big gov & antagonism toward states' rights. Most Dixiecrats went back to the Dems contrast to the lie otherwise.

@Aegius Robert Byrd was a Grand Wizard. He was supported by Dodd, Reid. Rockefeller and words of praise for him were given at his memorial and long before he died by Emocrats. All that Tren Lott did was say som kind words to Strom Thurmond at his 90th birthday party. No Strom Thurmond was not a Klansmen. Senator Thurmond was the first to hire a black aide in congress. Trent Lott was labeled a racist without reason. That is the two sets of rules. Why isn't anyone asking for Reid's resignation?

Look, if there is an apology for something stupid stated, I let it slide. @thecaliforniaknight Unfortunately the wikipedia article (you're using wikipedia for crissake!) you quote from does not reflect contemporary liberal ideology. Which leads me to believe that most if not all the sources of that article are debatable sources. I mean, if liberal ideology reflected support for the constitution in its fundamental form, judicial activism would not exist. But alas it does, and what ideology do those judicial activists abide by... liberalism!
